Schumacher Farm Park

Where Dane County's Rural Heritage Comes Alive.

The Friends of Schumacher Farm is a non-profit membership organization which manages programming for Schumacher Farm Park. Friends' members are our most important assets! You can become a member online or print out a paper application.

Benefits of Membership:

Members choose our leaders and help set the future direction of programming. Participating members provide financial and other support which enables the Friends to expand the experiences and educational opportunities we are able to offer.

Beyond the satisfaction of keeping history alive for you, your children and grandchildren, and knowing you help to maintain a restored landscape in which to learn about and appreciate natural resources, you get additional benefits:

  • Newsletter: Published online 4 times a year, seasonally.
  • Reduced admission fees to annual events and select workshops and 20% off admission to twelve Wisconsin Historic Sites.
  • Connection to the Past: Your membership supports our mission of education, preservation and restoration of Dane County’s rural heritage and plants the seeds of history appreciation in youth.
  • Voting privileges at the Annual Meeting. Bring your voice to the board and its committees.
  • Partner and Sustainer membership levels include additional benefits.
